(ANON QUESTION RECEIVED FROM GodfirstGodalways)
Love is love and God is good. No one should feel bad for sleeping with someone they love.
God is Love, love would be cheap if God is not the foundation. Your love without the fear of the Lord is not the best you can give and if that love involves sleeping with someone outside of marriage, I pray you’re prepared for your world to be shaken. Love requires discipline and if you’re not disciplined in this one thing, you will struggle with many other areas of life. The Lord wants your obedience, trust, and loyalty to Him and if your pride is getting in the way of completely resting on His time, you will struggle with the smallest issues and will always experience more disappointments than blessings. You will struggle with real connections and relationships until you give up and give in to God. Trust, when you’re at your wit’s end it’s because you never gave up your old ways. There’s so much more joy when you know deep in your soul your heart is pure and blameless. Your body is His temple. What you do with it determines how you will fare in life. The road to a full and everlasting life is narrow, don’t squander your time getting lost like the rest of this world. If sleeping with someone you’re not married to doesn’t convict you of guilt, you are young in faith and have a long way to go. I’ll be praying for you.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.
