Sorry this reply is so late. As I get older and older, praying that I become less and less judgmental, I’m growing to really accept people unconditionally. It says in the Bible that homosexuality goes against God. I can’t argue with that because I’d be going against HIM. But there are so many people who identify as gay. Anyone can be gay and strive to live under the LORD’S commands. I’m not in the position to say that gay people are going to hell because it’s God who ultimately knows the heart. There are stories of people overcoming homosexuality because they’ve gotten better and better at dealing with their daily struggles. It may be hard to believe but there are real testimonies surrounding transformations from homosexuality. I’ve overcome my strange addiction to Astrology because I’ve gotten better and better at refusing the urge to believe in such doctrines and I did it by believing in God more. I’ve also overcome my own strange attraction to the same sex because I denied my own curiosity and clung onto God. I believe that being gay is a sin especially if the person does not deny himself and follow Christ. And if lying is a sin, and premarital sex is a sin, and worshipping idols/celebrities/other gods is a sin, then repent and call on your Savior, Jesus. Each person in this world is a sinner. I am a sinner. A sin is a sin if you know deep down in your heart that it hurts your spiritual growth. Anyone who knows they’ve sinned should deliberately turn away from whatever the sin is and move on with faith. <3

Here are my other thoughts on homosexuality:

James 4:12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:17-20 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

James 4:7 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

Romans 3:20 “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.”
