(ANON QUESTION RECEIVED FROM GodfirstGodalways)
I’m so scared I’m lukewarm all the time almost every moment of my walk with God. I’m just not being good enough.
I believe the more you notice you’re scared that something bad could happen because you’re not in a good standing relationship with God, the more you’ll let fear run your life. But if you seriously start facing that fear with the fear of the Lord, you’ll remember just how patient and forgiving He is towards you. He wants your humility and repentance. So repent that fear, repent your worries. Tell Him you’ve been so wrong but also tell Him you want to change, and do something about your situation. The Lord restores the broken no matter how terrible you think of yourself. I don’t think there was ever a Christian that has never experienced being lukewarm. Stop fretting and start counting it a blessing whenever you’re worried for your soul and turn to God. It might take several times a day but the more you do this the easier it will get when Satan tempts you to worry again. I’m praying you friend! <3

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You,because he trusts in You.
