I’m a liar and a cheater. I feel so ashamed and separated from God and like I can’t even face Him.

Well you’re only going to keep feeling like this until you’re ready to face Him. Just remember that nothing you do can take away God’s love from you. He won’t shun you because you’re a sinner. Don’t forget it’s the sinners He comes to redeem. God is God and He is relentless about His love. Are you going to push His love away because you feel you don’t deserve it? If you do then you make it worse on yourself because that says you’re protecting your ego as you trust your pride and not Him. Fall on your knees friend, there’s no other way. Your weakness will only get bigger the longer you keep your sins from God. Talk to Him and repent, and genuinely give up your right to yourself and trust the LORD who will cleanse and purify you whole, trust in His perfect and genius mighty love to transform you as you invite Christ to come into your heart and live in it.

The fact that you “can’t even face Him” gives God the glory because He knows you fear Him. He is pleased with you, you, who knows that your sin is great. So let Him be greater. Give Him the glory all the more as You trust Him wholeheartedly again. Stay focused on Him every time He tugs at your heart to repent again. NOTHING IS TOO GREAT FOR GOD TO FORGIVE BECAUSE HE IS GREATER. WHENEVER YOU REMEMBER THAT AND REPEAT IT TO YOURSELF, THAT IS A FORM OF WORSHIP AND THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO WORSHIP HIM. GET CREATIVE. ANYTIME YOU FEEL LIKE YOU CAN’T FACE GOD IS A LIE THAT COMES FROM SATAN. DON’T WORSHIP HIM BY FALLING INTO HIS SCHEMES, GO STRAIGHT TO PRAISING YOUR LORD, GOD ALMIGHTY. THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH. I’m praying for you friend, that you will be strengthened in faith to know what is right and what is wrong and have the will to obey His word when temptation is near. God bless you!

Nehemiah 8:10 This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!

Psalm 119:25-29 I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word. I gave an account of my ways and you answered me; teach me your decrees. Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds. My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me and teach me your law.

Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

James 4:17 If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.
