(ANON QUESTIONS RECEIVED FROM GodfirstGodalways)
“It can’t rain forever” but it has been for three months. Every time I think I’m making my way out of the storm, something happens and I get knocked down again. When will this end. I cannot do this for much longer.
I know, love. Sometimes we get stuck in the rain because we expect it….but more like we run away from the rain or hide from it…..when we should be soaking in it because I believe God wants to bless us with a thorough washing, a re-cleansing of our hearts. Very good things come from rain and the longer you’ve been in that rain the more blessings will come out of it.
Have you been thanking Him for the rain? Because if you truly practice being grateful for it, you’ll find ways of seeing the joy in it. Sometimes God puts us in a metaphorical season despite the actual season we live in because if it was always sunny and happy, there would be no real hard work striving upwards/forward.
Right now is your season for some real one on one time with the LORD because in the future when you look back, you’ll realize how He was molding you. Don’t forget that character is built when there is stRAIN. As you mature, you will learn to turn more stRAINS into joy because it’s in God’s will that your mind will be transformed. Character is never built when all things seem perfect and you have nothing to complain about. Trust me when I say trust God because these 3 months of rain did not just happen for no reason. I believe He is molding you to be more resilient and confident because He also knows you won’t be able to handle anymore than what He gives you. If you consistently remind yourself that He is guiding you, that this is in His good will, you will be closer to His revealed truth what the purpose was behind all this. Your job is to thank Him, so be thankful right now because that stRAIN is evidence of God’s hand in your life. I think The LORD is so timely that because of this rain, He is teaching you to be more grateful and I believe that this Thanksgiving will be a memorable one for you. His love never fails, friend. You’re in my prayers tonight! 🙂
Isaiah 41:8 “You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness flourish with it; I, the LORD, have created it.
Joel 2:23 Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.
